Look at the managers we have had since Mark Hughes this has been a long term project since the current owners came in . We have had good managers who attracted good players . Yes we spent money I won't argue that we did not but Look at United down the years and tell me they did not spend money to get good players . Look at United now they spent big to start the Ten Haag era ! Chelsea have spent money even Liverpool under Klopp have spent money .
