He was amazing at Milan and great at PSG as well. He has been the best defender at Chelsea for last 3 years. He was in UEFA team of the year continuously for 3 years.
He did not get much clout because he played most of his career in french league or outside Europe. Best reader of the game in my opinion.

Even as a Liverpool fan, I think it is disrespect to say Sterling vs Grealish is not an easy decision. For people who don't know, Wayne Rooney's EPL debut was at the age of 16 coming of the bench for Everton against Arsenal and scoring a banger in the last minuets ending Arsenals 30 match unbeaten run which made him the youngest EPL goalscorer of that time. He also scored a hatrick on his Manchester United debut. He made his debut for England at the age of 17 becoming their youngest ever goalscorer. He was one of the most important players at Euro 2004 and was the youngest ever goalscorer of the competition at that time. He did all this in the Era full of Legends.
