For Odegaard, he is recently installed as Arsenal's captain, which should bode really well for his minutes. IMO he should be a better shout than Rashford, whose form is still rather unconvincing in the pre-season.

Odegaard. I think He's nailed on (He's also been confirmed as captain today), and judging by Arsenal's recruitment, could be massive differential early on.
Premium midfielders: i think the issue with premiums is removing the idea that you cant switch between them through the course of a season. I also, think a better way to compare them is using points per 90 mins, rather than underlying data. They are considered elite for the specific reason of what they actually do.
Martinelli and Rashford or Neto and Grealish? I'm on the former currently but think I will switch to the later pair before deadline.
Odegard is 100% nailed on and will be our captain.

Martinelli could potentially get benched for Nketiah Arteta loves him and he finished the season so well.
For 6m can't really complain though
I feel like some of the fixture difficulty ratings on FPL site are terrible.

Martinelli looks like he's improved once again during pre season and seems like a nailed on starter so seems like a no brained especially now they have Jesus up front to create more chances.
Odegaard for me is 100% nailed. Fabio Vieira is his rotation risk and hasn’t played any preseason yet and is still young. Also, there are strong rumours that Odegaard could be announced as club captain before the start of the new season, if this happens I see him being absolutely nailed.
In terms of cheap midfielders, you can’t look past Neto and Martinelli personally and the data back this up. I think Bailey is a good punt at 5m.
I am really struggling to pick between Foden and Mahrez in that 8m slot, and I could even drop to Grealish who I think I prefer the most out of the three, but I think it’ll be important to have at least one 8m mid!

My midfield is currently salah saka bailey neto periera. Also for me Arsenal fixtures are near the best, can't believe they're 7th. We should win every game until gw8(most comfortably as well)

How dumb would it be not to include James in my team? Instead, I'd then rotate Neco Wiliams, a 4.5m defender (Jonny?) and Andreas Pereira for my 11th slot. That'd free up an extra 1.5m to spend on my midfield.

I'm keeping an eye on Willock, if it looks like he'll start – Forest is a nice opening fixture and we know he likes a goal. Still only 21 though so not sure where is in the pecking order
