I was hoping that you recorded this after the community shield match, unfortunately you didn't.
I genuinely believe Cancelo will flop big time. He didn't involve in City offensive plays in the preseason games that much and also in both of their last two preseason matches he got booked with a yellow card. Man City's GW1 fixture vs West Ham is also a difficult one which makes me feel so uncomfortable to trust Cancelo. I'd much rather spend that money to upgrade my midfielders where I feel the real value truly lies.

Gabriel is nailed and had the most goals as defender last year, same price as Ramsdale doesn't make sense to go for the gk
I agree salah is boring but consider who out of all the players is likely to score and football usually doesn’t have many goals. Penalties help

Hhhmm Im so torn about Salah. I can make a good team with him but my defence suffers. Might have to coin flip it. Chelsea defence is a big no no for me.

Can't settle on a final draft, but here's my current team:
Meslier,
Robertson, VVD, Walker
De Bruyne, Martinelli, Maddison, Diaz, Grealish
Jesus, Kane
Feels pretty balanced to me, including 2 premiums.
Any recommendations to change are appreciated, ideally like-for-like switches per price bracket, as I'm not too keen to downgrade my team, just to include more 'safe', template picks.

Do you think that it might hurt your rank (or gain would be small) if you'd have only 1 defender from liverpool/city/chelsea and they keep a clean sheet? Lots and lots of managers have a double up on atleast one of those teams, many even on two (like myself currently).
Is there a point of having only 1 defensive asset from those teams like Reece James/Mendy, Cancelo or Trent?
Martinelli getting assists against Sevilla. Could change the thought process on him?
