  1. Were you surprised by anything you saw in Peter's contract?

  2. Seems a bit lame to me, for a Premier league striker to think that getting 10 goals is a good season.
Well worth the ridiculous amount of money they get paid ?
Even more worth the extortionate amounts they charge for kits and tickets etc ?

  3. I love all the behind the scenes details like this, have you guys ever thought about making the podcasts longer? People are perfectly happy to listen to 1-2 hour podcasts. I feel like there's so much interesting stuff you guys probably cut out.

Look at the Fozcast for example, some of his podcasts are nearly 2 hours and entertaining all the way through. YouTube algorithms heavily favour watchtime, you boys could easily get double the watchtime on your videos by just not cutting them down so short.

For a 'jump off point here' I'd like to see Crouchy explain more about player relationships with the stats guys employed by the club.

Given Brewdog's proven toxic culture, i.e how they treat their employees like shit, you really shouldn't accept sponsorship from them.

  6. "Fulfilling your role bonus" hahaha sounds like every job bonus I've ever had, some weird algorithm that no one understands and is basically what your boss says you are going to get

  7. Parth Suri dijo:

What is the bonus for the defender ?
    Crouchy: Being there
    Top lad?

35 years old is the age that professional players can draw their PFA pensions. My understanding is that by drawing the pension it precludes the former player from only playing on at anything other than a defined level of non-league (semi-pro) football – and associated number of games per week and training sessions are set. Plus due to the nature of their service, hips, knees etc. tend to need attention far earlier than other professions. Peter chose to play on past 35, and accordingly that has to be reflected in his pro contract

I'd have liked after the 'prevent fraud' comments had been made that when one sheet was done with, you heard a paper shreader going ?

  13. Andy dijo:

254k veiws in a week with 22.5 subs is massive ?????⚽

  14. WTF! Harry Maguire is getting paid to score own goals at Manchester. I should have figured that out by now.

  15. Kyle Dunn dijo:

Harry redknapps view on goal bonus is quality. What am I paying you 50 grand a week for? To miss? ?

  17. You need to advertise this more or something. Brilliant lads very funny. Glad I found it.

  18. I get all my Pod from the audio version, so I was really hoping I'd see what the Laout was looking like when I stumbled on the recaps, but no… holding the cards close to your chest, I see.

  19. I'm a photographer and will definitely mention the signing of the contract to my next footy mad groom/bride – love that idea – will have to be careful where we do it cuz there's a few Reverend's that will 100% hate it! Well worth it

Really enjoyed the defender bonus discussion!! Funny and thought-provoking at the same time

  21. Joseph dijo:

id not be bothered about bonuses either if i was on £200k a week

  22. I went to a music gig in Liverpool on the docks, it was pretty small and Crouch was there and he stood right in front of me, I couldn't see a thing.

  23. Tom Murphy dijo:

35 is the age that a footballer can take their pension. same for other physical jobs where you are past your best young, like ballet dancer, or gymnast.

  24. Air Best dijo:

I am sure managers/ coaches know about bonuses.I head stories in papers where players where remove from squad because if they played 1 more game they would get a big bonus. Weren't there story about Barcelona player that didn't get played because he was about to get bonus for games played?

  25. FarleyTV dijo:

Best podcast on the planet ????

  26. surely "fulfilling a tactical role" is the basis of being a footballer, thus negating the need for a bonus?

  27. Listened to The Anfield Wrap this week and Firmino was on a basic 67,000 pw but then in one game he scored and assisted to get his stats to a certain level and got ball park 180,000 that week due to bonuses activated.

  28. Love that Crouchy just went and played and accepted that relegation everyone suffers so why not the ppl that were involved with actually relegating the club that affects the city. Top Man.

  29. Talk about injury clauses next time.

  30. J.W ? dijo:

If a defender is in a wall facing a free kick. And the the subsequent free kick is blocked ? by the defender in wall. Bonus ???. This stop them turning away & ducking. WIN/WIN ??

  31. Daniel Lyons dijo:

clean sheet bonus for keepers? and center backs? does this happen? championship manager has me ruined 😛

  32. Only care bout how munch u earn y couldn’t say that

  33. Andy J dijo:

Wow the talking about bonuses for defence went on way to fucking long

  34. The best bonus would be simply a team win bonus. Keeps it simple

  35. Bill K dijo:

Bonuses for XG's ….. never …. player like Adama Traore would be raking in huge bonuses without ever scoring.

  36. h b dijo:

    Shits on the Fozcast ?

  37. Zhi dijo:

I liked the video before watching it, anyone else done that?

  38. Martin A dijo:

When Jon Arne Rise's payslip got leaked, his, as a defender had a win bonus. Which I think is the only bonus that should be in a contract. Win and you all get paid, lose and you get nothing. No selfishness or individual goals to work towards.

    Bonuses are stupid anyway.
Strikers are signed to score, attacking midfielders to create chances, wingers to take people on create chances. Defensive mids to break up play and defenders to win headers and tackle. Literally getting extra money for what you are already paid to do.

  39. Mow Vu dijo:
