Why does anyone listen to Adam? The bloke thinks Rashford is a good player and Ten Hag is a good coach. 🤷♂️
Its slightly annoying as we want to just talk about football but it will likely if the Premier leagues rules are fsir will strengthen the league going forward as it sets the precedent for the future. This is really unavoidable in some degree as we have entered a period where the there are several different cultures now owning parts of of the football league. I am not just a bitter fan, i dont like Chelsea buying their success but i was and am dead against throwing Abramovich out on the back of what another man done, i think it was disgusting. This does make city look very guilty and deceitful as they smiled and said the 115 charges were false now its getting heated they are challenging the very rules they are accused of breaking which you would not expect one to do if one were innocent and this is tantamount to athletes taking steroids. People may not like this but there is a huge cultural issue which is now coming to a head as these owners have never seen or had to adhere to any rules that is not religious text. They have always simply made their own rules and have done what they liked and is hugely disappointing that they have seemed to come to us and have no respect for our league and its rules which happens to be over a century old. It seems almost contemptuous and ultimately if we are right and fair it wont be bad for the league and they will ultimately have only let themselves, their club and their cultural peers down.
This was inaudible rabble. However, whenever Flav spoke they stopped.
The fact that man u and Chelsea fans don't think their clubs will follow city if they leave
Tyranny of the majority 😂 only arab states would come up with that line
It would be horrible for the sport but the premier league deserves to lose this case for embracing oil money and state owned clubs as much as they have. They should have put a stop to this decades ago but they wanted their clubs to have a leg up on the big clubs in the other leagues so they let oligarchs and dictators pump their money into their league. You sold your soul and now the consequences have arrived.
This lawsuit is about change brought in recently. City is suing now because they are rules against player transfers between multi-club owners.
Man City were an obscure league two team five minutes ago. Premier League will happily go along without them. Additionally, this all started with Chelsea buying success twenty years ago. They can fuck off too. Bring back heritage.
Buvey was waffling so much. I mean fair enough backing your club but come on buvey
😂 State Owned 😂
😂 Sportswashing 😂
😂 Super League 😂
Nearly had a full house on City bingo!
Reality is… anyone who's over 35… who watched us in division 2 and a year ago today watched us win a treble… DO NOT CARE! 😂 Buveys a melt, Big Steve made that brummie yoonited fan cry!!
Buvey trying to deflect by saying that the City owners “saved the club” and “made memories for the fans” is irrelevant. It’s awful for the fans if every memory that was made was through cheating and breaking the rules. The argument of saying they “saved” your club is irrelevant if the same club then gets booted from the football pyramid because of their own actions as owners.
Rory the king of waffle. If you owned a booze company… is it right in the free market that you can’t sponsor a football club you own. What the fuck are you on about?! 😂
Buvey thinks because Man City won something that they are part of the big clubs. You have to win with honor, without honor you get what you get around that table, nobody cares. You cheated and you'll end up being sent back to where you came. And just because Man City won a few titles while cheating doesn't mean anything. Better more storied clubs have won the Premier League and been relegated and the league went on… Man City won the EPL before it was the EPL and the league kept turning even after they were relegated.
Portsmouth, Ipswitch, Leeds, Derby… All more respected than Man City as Man City did it the wrong way.
I think it’s Man City punishing the Premier League, if the punishment for 115 is too bad. We can use this other case to punish you financially for the 115, so be careful what you do.
I think the problem was the premier league in the first place. The top of the pyramid became so large it’s crushing the base.
I just dont understand who are some random institution say what some sponsor wants to pay to club as sponsor money? But things like boehly selling his own hotel to himself to wipe off 100million in minus for ffp to buy another continent of brazilian bois again is utterly hilarious and should be punished
The idea that Man City suing the PL is completely unrelated to 115 charges is incredible mental gymnastics
"The average attendance at the Etihad Stadium for Manchester City games over the last three seasons is as follows:
2022/23: 53,2491
2021/22: 53,2882
2020/21: 52,7382
In terms of ranking within the Premier League, Manchester City’s average attendance places them 7th in the league for the 2022/23 season. This is based on the overall attendance figures for all clubs in the league. "
7th. So how tf can Adam say city not being there will not matter?
Rory need to know this is a spectator sport and alot of children watch and idolize players. Of course they cant have shirts with booz, gambling and pornhub ads.. cmon rory
What a set btw guys massive improvement
Buvey can’t even keep his words straight. One minute he says “you can’t say that state ownership has massively improved man city on a sporting level.”
20 seconds later…
“they’ve done massive things for the club on a sporting level”
Its funny to watch Adam talk about sportswashing ethics. Ryan Giggs. Mason Greenwood. Antony. Cristiano Ronaldo. You think those names were not sportswashed?
Nations shouldn't own clubs because of financial distortion, accountability (say no to the club? The sheikh can pressure the government to chnage the decision) and more importantly, even outside of football, other nations should not own british institutions.
The premier league needs Man City LOL
Free market doesn’t mean freedom of laws, majority of industries and businesses will have regulations / laws. Investment banks or stock brokerage firms will have regulations that have to follow
City have won because they have cheated, which is one of the main problem with this charges. Should be permanently banned
Adam is so thick man listening to him define sports washing gave me a headache. Just saying a bunch of words don’t make you smart
Im loving every Minute of the Prem holding smoke.
The point about city fans becoming a mouthpiece for the state is so accurate
The jealousy of city is hilarious coz other teams can only pick up the scraps 😂😂😂
But if what you won….you won it by cheating? City wants to justify their wrong doing.
Buvy is co-signing sports washing. And the fact that he can’t admit it says a lot about city fans
If this matter is about 'FFP' can someone tell me how united are able to spend millions of pounds every season – when they are half a billion in debt ? how is that FFP ?
