If you go by Sheringham's logic then Ferguson should have been fired in his 2nd or 3rd season, after finishing 11th and 13th in the league, with 13 and 16 losses, and no silverware at all..

Majority seem to be gunning for Ten Hag more concerned about his future then actually praising the man. Before Ten Hag came in we hadn't won a trophy in 6 years Ten Hag comes in we get to 3 finals winning 2 of them. That's not bad considering the amount of issues we've had. Far as I'm concerned Ten Hag definitely deserves at least another year.

Sheringham is due his respect for the final in 99. After that he’s better off where he is at doing this interview,imho!! What he says as a pundit is another story. Very tough season but ended up in Europe and winning another trophy with an injury depleted squad.
