Burnley were brought back down to earth with a bang on Tuesday night, falling to a 2-0 home defeat against Leicester and missing the chance to clamber out of the relegation zone. Another chance is just around the corner though, but with just one win in 15 Premier League (PL) attempts against Chelsea (D4, L10), the prospect of Burnley triumphing appears slim.

A fast start will give them every hope of achieving that ambition, especially with Chelsea having scored before half-time in 14 of their 15 PL meetings with Burnley, while losing just one PL game when scoring first this season (W12, D5).
Players to watch: With Burnley netting three goals in their last two home league 3pm kick-offs, Wout Weghorst will be eager for his first Turf Moor strike, while at the back, the ‘Clarets’ have kept a clean sheet in 50% of Nathan Collins’ PL starts this season. Up against him is Romelu Lukaku, who has contributed in all four of his PL away games at Turf Moor (G3, A2).
