I feel for Darwin, he looked out of it since that first big chance he missed. No real energy and whenever he put in effort he did ok but it wasnt enough. I feel like we shouldve won this game simply based on the chances we had, Villa played REALLY well and they unlocked our midfield really well at times which worried me a bit, they pressed Graven well so it was harder playing out through the middle. Trent played really well today both defensively and offensively, the goal simply being the cherry on top. Konate and szobo played well today, Szobo couldve done better in some circumstances but thats nitpicking compared to how often this guy runs, absolute machine, up and down the field. Konate was really solid in defence, did really well in multiple high risk situations. Jota wasnt great tbh, he had that wide miss, the volley and the crossbar hit which the only real highlights of him? could be wrong. Diaz had it rough but considering the game and how it was going, it was always gonna be tough getting rid of that extra midfielder (when we were already struggling in midfield) and adding a winger.

(Someone needs to shake Darwin up, not in a bad way but show him some passion, he looks lost with lack of energy)
