You need to take either Kane or Son for me.
Could you do a draft team for one of our leagues that is a set and forget league? Basically you set your team once for the season and no changes or chips are playable for that entire season. Different approach to a week in and week out FPL game

I genuinely dislike this draft so much. The heavy reliance on Chelsea makes me deeply uncomfortable and I really don’t see Arsenal smashing it this season, Spurs are in a far stronger position for similar prices, Kulu and Perisic are absurdly good value
Mahrez down to Neto, Bailey down to a 4.5 and Ederson to Mendy then you can switch Havertz for Haaland and have 2 premiums to captain
You’re putting way too much trust in to a less than convincing Chelsea side mate. Havertz and Chillwell will come back to bite you on the arse.

Martinelli will never reach 90 minutes but if you are ok with that then pick him. Him having the potential to be explosive in terms of getting you points might make up for that. However, with nketiah now signing a new deal and him seemingly having a great partnership going with Jesus, I wouldnt be surprised if we see jesus go right, nketiah middle, saka moved to left early in the second half if things arent going well. with 5 subs this year it definitely seems like you are going to have to watch out and pay attention to those players that tend to be the first subbed off. Martinelli being one of them. As with more subs means managers will tend to take them off earlier than before. I can easily see martinelli being subbed off majority of the time at half or at the 55 mark. Which means he might not even get you that extra point if arsenal keep a cleansheet.
I'd take out Martinelli for Neto and take Saka instead of Mahrez

Pretty poor draft. Mahrez heavily rotated Havertz never was or will be a consistent points scorer. Ederson a waste of a potentially big city points scorer ()six or 9 max per game will never score 17 a game which is what you want a few times a season from your city big hitters() Chelsea always concede. Poor

There's too many points lost to miss out on Kane, Son, Haaland premiums if you can captain or not – they are going to smash it and so getting as many of them in the team is a must, and if by some crazy chance they don't perform in the 1st few weeks it's easy to downgrade
I think Havertz over Diaz is a pretty bad mistake. If both were midfielders, I would still expect Diaz to comfortably outscore Havertz. The only upside I guess is that the £4.5m mids are slightly better than the forwards at the same price. Fournals, Soucek, Rodri and even Harrison have nabbed more points than Havertz over the last 2 campaigns. I bet 3 of those beat him this season!
I unsubscribed after watching this draft it is funny. Aren’t you following any preseason at all Chelsea are really shambolic and Chilwell is struggling with fitness. And Mahrez is part of the pep roulette without viable back up. Add to this the complete lack of flexibility.
What do people think on Foden vs Mahrez?

What are your thoughts on making TAA captain game week 1? Knowing a clean sheet is 90% guaranteed with a possible assist?
Seems like the statistics in Trent and salah getting 12 points as captain is roughly the same

Andy this feels like a draft designed to promote the RMT tool. I don't believe for a second that you'll start the season without Haaland

Chelsea are having a horrible pre season , just lost 4-0 to Arsenal , I will only be having one of their players I think

The issue with Haaland is because of his injury history and Pep saying he's going to manage his minutes, you either have to start with him and get rid of him if he gets injured or ignore him when he's on form. He's not a 'ill wait and see player' cause of his hamstring problem. Kane is just going to have that thing with Son, one will have a purple patch, then the other will. So sticking with Salah as Captain isn't actually a bad idea as he has the least drawbacks of all the premiums. If you're going to spend £13 mill on him, you should captain him the majority of gameweeks anyway.
Staying away from Chelsea players till the Wildcard is probably wise, they didn't end last season well and there's going to be a lot of changes. I know there's a fear of missing out but you can have 2 Liverpool & 2 City defenders instead and have Mendy in goal of you're worried about missing Chelsea's potential clean sheets and it wouldn't hurt as much if Chelsea does start well but the risk of Triple Chelsea is just so high
Is anyone else getting slightly concerned with Chelsea defensively? I know, I know, it's only pre season, but Tuchel also seems concerned.
Do you not think Jesus, cancelo or Mahrez are possible Captain options?
Would you rather have Mahrez or Mount for the first 6-8 weeks? And why?
I think Mahrez have a better fixgures, and more upside, with jesus and sterling gone. But its citys rotations. Mount play everytime, have a fine fixgures. But ho are i assistent for. They have no clear cut goalscore.
Thoughts on walker? looks pretty nailed on to play even if cucurella signs, and I think for 5mil he could be an absolute steal
No Chelsea players for me. No confidence in the way they are at the moment. Had James and Sterling but took them out, wasn't chuffed with chelseas results but I think now Tuchels comments throwing players under the bus is a real concern as an FPL player! (Not as a LFC supporter…love it.)
I want ederson on the goal but then can't have a midfielder if I have both haaland and cancelo. So tough one
