Wenger was not backed in the way they are backing Arteta. Reason being Arsenal was paying off the stadium. You are 100% correct, if Wenger was given the kind of money Arteta has been handed , most certainly Wenger would have won more silverware and now 10 years down the line no premiership title. I hope the present squad start believing in themselves and make a go of it. I can't wait for Arsenal to start firing on all cylinders and come out blazing.
