I've seen too many seasons since the Invincibles where the media have labeled Arsenal as "title favorites" in October/November.
Yes the players have shown greater maturity and discipline than they have the last three years and the club heavily invested in the summer, but until they can generate this run of form in the later stages of the season, they won't win any major trophy.

It is not that liverpool are struggling. All EPL teams has seriously improved and there is no weak team to defeat now.
EPL is the strongest league across the world and relegated team like wolves can defeat Barcelona or Madrid.
In regards to Ange I think if the owner really wanted him as manager, he should have done so after the season and hire an interim with the most similar philosophy you can find.
Ange plays a certain way and the players they have now aren't suited for all the running required
